Objective 2.1.1: The student will (TSW) analyze organization, structure, and syntax that reveal an author's purpose (6).

Objective 2.1.3: TSW analyze connections between and among themes, ideas, and/or styles of two or more texts (28).
Objective 3.1.1: TSW compose effective informative or expository texts (29).
Objective 3.1.2: TSW compose effective persuasive essays and arguments (29).
Objective 3.1.4: TSW compose effective research essays that support, modify, or refute a thesis; use a logical structure; provide relevant and complete evidence; and cite and document sources accurately (29).
Objective 5.2.1: TSW participate in and contribute to large- and small-group collaboration for a variety of assigned and self-selected purposes (15).
