English 12 Essential Curriculum Objectives:
- The student will interpret literary text by describing the multitude of cultural and linguistic influences that have shaped the English tradition. G/T
- The student will understand the interrelationship of literary elements such as plot, characterization, setting, point of view, mood, tone, and theme.
- The student will understand inferences of literary text through analyzing mood, tone, theme, diction, imagery, and motifs. G/T
- The student will compose an authentic response to a personal college essay question.
